The FORBPO Mobile App is under development.

1. Introduction
The Fraternal Order of Retired Border Patrol Officers (FORBPO) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any information collected through the FORBPO Mobile App. This policy outlines how user data is managed within the app, which is powered by the MemberLeap platform.

2. Information Collection and Use
The FORBPO Mobile App is designed to provide members access to FORBPO content and services. While FORBPO does not directly collect or store personal information, the app enables members to access a variety of interactive features hosted by MemberLeap, which may collect and store data as described below:

  • Event Registration: Members can register for events, view schedules, and check in using QR codes. Attendance and feedback data may be collected and stored by MemberLeap to enhance event functionality.
  • Location-Based Services: Certain features, such as the Member Map, use geolocation data to provide directions and show nearby members. This data is only used during active sessions and can be disabled in device settings.
  • Social and Contact Features: Members can share contact information through digital business cards, QR codes, and the member directory. This information is shared only within the member network among logged-in users.
  • Classified Ads and Message Boards: Content posted by members, such as classified ads or forum messages, is accessible to other app users.
  • Photo and File Sharing: Members may upload and access files, photos, and other shared content. Members are responsible for the content they share and can manage or remove their own posts if needed.
  • Push Notifications: The app may send notifications to alert members about updates, events, or important messages. Notification settings can be managed through the app or device settings.
  • Analytics: Aggregated data, such as member registration trends, is used for reporting and improving member services. Individual data is not identifiable in these analytics.


3. Password and Payment Information
FORBPO does not store member passwords. Member login credentials are securely managed by MemberLeap.

4. Data Security
The app uses secure connections to ensure that any data transmitted through the MemberLeap platform remains protected. FORBPO relies on MemberLeap and Authorize.net’s security practices to safeguard user information.

5. Third-Party Disclosure
FORBPO does not share personal information with third parties. Any information processed through MemberLeap or Authorize.net is handled according to their respective privacy practices.

6. User Rights
Members who wish to update, delete, or manage their information can do so directly through their MemberLeap profile. Members may also control location services and notification settings on their devices. For additional assistance, users may contact FORBPO at webmaster@forbpo.org.
